Five years ago, when I took over purchasing for our company, I thought buying a solar system was like buying a laptop. You compare specs, pick a price, and move on. I was wrong. Not just a little wrong—wrong enough to cost us weeks of rework and a couple of thousand dollars in unnecessary site visits.
